What is the best chain saw?

I have owned Stihl chainsaws for years and have found them to be reliable and long lasting. A couple of points about Stihl chainsaws. They are not the cheapest and you will have to find a Stihl dealer to purchase one as they are not sold at Lowes/Home Depot .

Not sure if there is a "best" chainsaw but there certainly are some very good ones on the market. Most pro's around tend to think very highly of Stihl.

The Stihl brand of saws are renowned for thier superiority and high price. Well worth it if you are using it a lot. Next would be Husqvarna. Very user friendly without the such a high price. For the average owner that uses a saw ocassionally, buy an Echo.
