Abstinence is always considered the best contraceptive device. However spermicides and condoms used and worn correctly are great contraceptives. There are so many options available for women it could make your head spin. However talking to your gynecologist and even trial and error will help you pick the most appropriate, effective and inexpensive contraceptive device.

You need to talk to your doctor for reproductive health about that. Because each person is different, certain birth control methods can cause you harm based on any health problems you could have. Though I would recommend condoms with spermicide or the birth control pill if you are a woman.

The most effective is abstinence. The second best is a form of birth control taken as directed and condoms are always a good bet.

Nothing works better than abstinence. However, if you are going to have sex, the best form of birth control is the condom. It is extremely effective at not only preventing pregnancy, but also at preventing the spread of venereal diseases.

The BEST device is abstinence. However the BEST device would really be up to your personal preference. They all have a risk involved.
