There are things you can do to help you cope with aching joints that are associated with fibromyalgia. Getting a good nights sleep, eating a well balanced diet, avoid caffeine and reduce stress. Physical therapy and exercise are good ways to help reduce any stress you may be experiencing.

There is no single treatment for fibromyalgia pain, but gentle stretching and exercise, use of anti-inflammatory medications, and massage are some commonly recommended treatments.

Most doctors will prescibe NSAIDS. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug will keep the joints from swelling. This will ease the pain. It also may help to use cold packs about 20 minutes every 4hrs.
