Cheetah's naturally live in areas of grasslands or in the savannahs (Africa). As this land is diminished, they adapt to homes in the desert or other areas with sufficient prey.

Cheetahs like open country. The open country can be grassland, savannah, scrubland, semidesert, priarie, or desert. The cheetah thrives inahabitat where prey is abundant. Once found throught Asia and Africia they are now found only in Africia.
