A hot tub is large enough for several people to get in and soak. A jacuzzi is like a bathtub with jets that move the water.

People say 'Jacuzzi' to mean hot tub, but not all hot tubs are Jacuzzi's. In other words, jacuzzi is a well-recognized brand name for hot tubs. Jacuzzi products are typically jetted tubs for use either indoors or outdoors.

Actually, there is no real difference, they are both tubs of hot water that use forced air to produce therapeutic bubbles. Jacuzzi is really a trademarked brand name that has come into common usage to describe a hot tub.

There's really not any difference. Jacuzzi is a brand name, just like Sundance and Nordic. So logically we can say that all Jacuzzis are hot tubs, but not all hot tubs are Jacuzzis.
