Prosecco is made from the prosecco grape varietal and is made in Italy. Champagne is made in France and is comprised of any or all of the following grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Champagne is elaborated by secondary in-the-bottle fermentation. Prosecco has the carbonation added to the fermentation process.

Prosecco is a sparkling wine from Italy. It is a dry sparking wine and is often substituted for champagne. Champagne is also a sparkling wine, but is mostly from France.
