What is the difference between right side and left side blood pressure?

The right and left side of the heart are used for opposite purposes, one side is going in through the heart and one side is going out.

If someone has had a stroke, the blood pressure on the affected side will often be lower because of decreased flow through the blood vessels. This in general is true of anyone with vascular problems - the blood pressure on the affected side will be lower than that on the unaffected side.
