Cobia fish live in the waters off the Atlantic shore of Florida. They migrate through the year, tending to congregate at reefs and estuaries.

Cobia are found near reefs, fish wrecks, in estuaries and mangroves, near buoys and harbors. They will be found in waters where the temperatures average at least 24 degrees Centigrade.

The cobia fish are migrating fish. They spend their time in the winter at the Atlantic Coast of Florida. In the spring they migrate up to the Atlantic Coast. In the Summer they're in the Gulf of Mexico. In the fall they go back to the Atlantic Coast.
