Bleach is great for cleaning and sanitizing things, and that is a major line of defense to keep away roaches, but bleach is not a repellent in itself.

Bleach isn't usually used to keep away roaches - rather, it's used to clean up the droppings that can trigger allergic reactions. The bleach solution you'd use to clean up roach dust is 3/4 of a cup of bleach in one gallon of very hot water. Please wear gloves, and never mix bleach with any other cleaning products!

Roaches need water and like to live in the drains. Full strength bleach can be used to kill them where they are living. Pour the full strength bleach down the drain. This is best done in the evening, just before you retire for the night.

For a strong solution to kill cockroaches try mixing 1 part borax with 3 parts bleach in a spray bottle.

If you fart, they will scatter. So eat beans on a regular basis.
