Most pipes come equipped with a chamber for a filter. That chamber is located in the mid section of the stem. That filter must be clean to maximize ones enjoyment. The tobacco must be packed lightly if tobacco. Light with fire, thoroughly igniting the entire surface area, while puffing.

You should inhale in very hard. You can put another light layer of tobacco on top. Take a puff and hold it and while holding it again quickly take another hold it for 10-15 seconds and relese out slowly. You should also lit it nicely and practice to get a high trip.

You will need to put the tobbaco in the pipe. one pinch is enough. hold the struck match or lighter over the bowl and pull the smoke into your mouth.
