There is no significance in male cat color. Males can be many colors, including black, white and gray. They are also found with tabby markings of brown, gray and orange. The only female specific colors are tortoiseshell and calico.

There is no significance to male cat colour, except it's unusual to get a male tortoiseshell and a ginger cat is almost always male. They can be the same number of colours as a female. Mine is white, black and tan. It means nothing past the mutations their parents had.

This sounds ridiculous. Can can be many different colors. I have a Male Maine Coon He is black, grey, tan, white every shade in between. You must mean that most calico cats are female which is true but a lot of cats can be different colors and more than 2

The color of a cat is a genetic trait that varies with the breed and individual cat. It is passed on from one generation to another to all cats regardless of the gender of the cat. So there are many color possibilities for male cats.

A male cat can only have at most two different colors. If you see a calico, then it is a female.
