it depends on what type of bow you shoot. A tradition bow will shoot around 200 FPS, while a good compound bow will shoot at speeds greater than 330 FPS. It will also depend on the type and weight of the arrow you are shooting.

the speed of an arrow is not like the speed of a bullet. a bullet if the gun is working properly will all come out at the same rate of the speed. but a arrow is powered by your arm.
