They range from a penny still in circulation that is probably only worth a penny to over a thousand dollars for a key date mint penny.

Wheat pennies differ in value based on the scarcity of the coin, the age, the condition, the year, if there are any flaws from the minting, like double struck or if the coin is one made in wartime.

The values of wheat pennies differ by date and grade. For instance, standard wheat pennies that you may have sitting around in an old shoe box may be worth a few cents. Additionally, wheat pennies that are older and in better condition can be worth a few dollars. The values can be easily located in the Red Book of coins.

Most wheat pennies are worth around 3 cents. Nothing if damaged. There are a few dates that can go up to hundreds. Such as the 1914D. Make sure you research.
