Torb/VAL syrup is the opioid Torbutrol(butorphanol) dissolved in V.A.L. syrup. It's usually prescribed to treat mild pain. The V.A.L.syrup contains B-vitamins, but is mostly added to hide Torbutrol's bitter flavor.

Torb is short for Torbugesic which is a short term pain medication prescribed to dogs. This is offered as VAL syrup. It is a poor pain medication as it does not last very long compared to other pain medications. It also does not control pain very well. The dog may still experience it while on medication.

its a very poor quality of pain killer for pets. usually given after a surgery or injury. it lasts a very short time tho.
