There is no easy way to accomplish this without being either a trained or skill botanist. There are so many different varieties of this plant type there is no Generic-Way.

Search it on the internet and it will pull pages of information for you then you can read through it all and pick out what you want on the growing areas and it will make it alot easier for you if you decide to go forward with wanting to grow them in your area.

It does not like cold winters or strong winds. It generally grows best in zones five through nine, though in zones five and six it should be in a sheltered area to protect it during winter.
