The tourists are the ones known for wearing loud colors. Solid prints with neutral colors would make one blind in better in Chile. Adults generally do not wear shorts. Chilean women do not wear overtly sexy clothing and jackets are worn outside during most times, especially men. They value a neat and clean appearance.
