The English Pitbull is supposedly very good with children. This is a loyal, caring and loving dog who tries hard to please his owner. Energetic as puppies, when the dogs mature they usually get lazy. This breed is very protective of their human families. Some of these dogs are very territorial.

English Pitbulls are very good with children and families. They are very loyal to their owners and want to please them. They are very gentle and caring animals. As puppies they can be very energetic but as they grow older and mature, they become calmer and settle down. They can be considered lazy as adult for their lack of exercise.

It's generally not fair to generalize a dog's behavior with an entire breed. The most aimable breeds can be hostile if given the wrong environment to grop up in. Also, every breed will have their "psychos", so even if you find a "happy" breed, this does not ensure that your dog will be a good match.

Not really they seem to do better with single adults because they tend to be a one person dog and they are very territorial.

Every dog has their own personality. If possible, before bringing a dog home, the dog should meet everyone in the house hold.
