Make sure that you choose fish that are an appropriate size match to mollies, or they will nipped at. Platys and sword tails are excellent choices, as are various other types of sleek bodied mollies. I would not get fancy guppies or balloon, mollies, they are not compatible. You can also add cory catfish.

the black molly is compatible with the fishes like white molly, orange molly, golden fish, guppy. because it can only live with the small kind of fishes. the black molly will not be able to live with the large fishes because these fishes will eat them..

The best fish to place in an aquarium with the Black Molly are Swordtails. They are about the same size and the coloring looks great together. Another fish which can be included in the tank are Neon Tetras. They are smaller and usually are not bothersome to other fish. The red and blue also offsets the Mollys black coloring.

Black mollies are friendly community fish. They are compatible with other non-aggresive tropical fish. You can have guppies, neons, zebra fish, rosy red minnows, and algae eaters with them. There are also some non-tropical fish you can add. You can have goldfish, koi, comets, and black morheads with them also.

The Black Molly does well with other fish such as Swordtails, Platies, Angel Fish, Plecostomus, and Corydoras Catfish. Also, the Black Molly does better in a tank with only a few male fish and more female fish. They do well with larger Tetras like Black Skirts, Silver Tips, and Red Serpaes.

The Black Molly is a short-finned hybrid variation of Poecilia latipinna, the Sailfin Molly. The Black Molly is all black in coloration with short fins.
