The only size tires you can fit on a 17in. rim are tires with R-17 marked on them. The width depends on the width of the rim.

Well, this is going to depend on the width of the rim. Measure horizontally and then you will see that you can apply a tire in that way.

Well you can put any other 17" tire as long as there is room an it is not too much wider than the original tire. I think stock rim can fit up to a 25mm wider tire without problems but you should do some research first.

Any size tires as long as the rim size is 17 inches. An example would be p225/65/R17 as long as the last 2 numbers is 17 it will fit. Fitting in your wheel well is another story though.

You will need to measure for clearance on the car to know how big you can go. Look online on how to measure for tire clearance properly. Then just get a 17 diameter tire in the size you want.

You can only place 17 inch tires onto a 17 inch rim. They are the only ones that will fit. However, you can go up one size for width. Example if you have 135/75R17's you can use 134/75R's instead. The safest way to go would to be to use tires that fit your rim exactly.

17 inch refers to the rim seat diameter, and 16's or 18's won't fit. You have to use 17's. You can use basically any aspect ratio, but keep the same width. If you have to, you can go one size wider: If you have 135/75R17's, you can use 145/75R17's.

You can only put 17 inch tires on 17 inch rims. However, you can go with 17 inch tires with a different profile size, for a different overall diameter.

Your not gonna be able to put any size bigger then a 17 inch tire or smaller then a 17inch tire. If your looking to buy new tires the only thing other then the actual tire size you would need to know is how wide you rim is. A tire too narrow or wide will cause leaks.

As long as the new tire is a 17" diameter and is no more than 25mm wider than your old tire. Do some measurement to be sure though.

You can only put 17 inch tires on a 17 inch rim, but there are other options available. 17 inch tires come in a variety of sizes. You can put a tire on that has a taller or shorter sidewall. Another option is changing tire width.

The range of tire sizes that can be fitted to a 17 inch rim is dependent upon the rim width.
