What makes things fall to the earth? Newton proposed the gravitational force. Einstein then proposed the curvature of space-time as the cause, but still left the question open.

Anything and everything in quantum physics is mysterious. The more we know in that field then the more we realize we don't know about completely new ideas.

Scientists have been working on studies to see what effect spanking has on children between the ages of two and four. It has been discovered so far that the children who were spanked had an average IQ 5 points lower than children who were not spanked. The question is simply: why?
