You need to take your child to his or her doctor. This is very painful for your child so go as soon as you can get him or her in. They will put your child on medication that should cause the infection to clear up. Limit the amount of sugary food and drink in the meantime.

You need to take your child to a doctor as soon as possible. He needs to be taking antibiotics, which require a prescription. The infection is likely to worsen if this is not done. You should also have him drink as much cranberry juice as possible.

You should take the child to visit a physician or take him/ her to the emergency room if he/ she has a high fever. The child will be prescribed with antibiotics which will eliminate the infection over a number of days. This is important as a UTI will not go away by itself.

Anytime a small child has an infection you should consult with a doctor for treatment options. Make sure he or she is drinking lots of water and if he will cranberry juice. For fever or pain you could use Motrin but make sure you consult with the doctor regarding the dosage.
