The first step is to clean the wound with warm water and a mild anti-bacterial soap to avoid infection. Next, an anti-biotic ointment should be applied, this will allow the burn to heal more quickly than if it were left on its own. Lastly, top the whole thing with a breathable band-aid, and you're set.

First, keep the area clean because it's a prime area for infection. If you have an aloe plant, cut a piece and rub the aloe juice on the area. Keep it loosely covered. It needs air but it also needs to be clean.

The purpouse of a blister on a burn is to keep it hydrated and cool. Keep the burn cool, as to annul the pain, running it under cool water. Cool packs are good, but be careful of freeze burns. Aterward, keep the blister well hydrated with vitamin E cream to prevent further damage to the burn and surrounding area.

A burn that causes blisters is more serious than a first-degree burn. You should call your doctor or go to the emergency room.

Depending on the size and location you should see your doctor. Dress it with a sterile cool gauze and polysporin a couple times a day until you get it seen.
