Most likely something she consumed. Does she eat/drink alot of the same thing? My boys used to get that if they drank more than a cup of grape koolaid.

Purple colored food products are typically the culpret of green stools in children. Avoiding foods with artifical coloring should eliminate the problem. Switch artifical grape drinks, popsicles, candy, etc. with natural fruits, juices and veggies. Of course, speaking with your nurse or pediatrician to ease your mind is always a good idea.

Green colored stool is sometimes simply from something the child ate or drank. If it passes in one or two movements, don't be concerned. If it is a constant occurrence, it may be a sign of infection or cold in the child and a doctor should be consulted to be sure.

If they eat alot of greens (peas, lettuce, etc) than this is normal. If not then I would see if something they are eating has a green food coloring in it. If neither of those are true, then I would check with the doctor to make sure for underlying medical conditions.

Green bowel movements are typically normal, the color of your bowels can vary based on what you eat regardless of age, if it persists however, I suggest you contact a pediatrician just to be sure.

Green bowel movement is nothing but the bowel gets contaminated from foreign bodies so the bowel does not have anything in its isntestine.
