What should I know about addressing royalty?

The standard for kings and queens is "your grace". Emperors and sultans may differ from country to country, but they are used to dealing with a wide range of people, so as long as you are polite, I wouldn't worry about getting thrown in the dungeon or anything. Ask someone at the palace before you're introduced to make sure.

There are different ways to address various titled royals. If you know whom you are to meet, there are a number of websites that detail the specifics of addressing each individual. Often there is one greeting for the initial meeting and a different address for subsequent conversation. If you get stuck, "Sir" and "Ma'am" are always safe bets.
