A person 25 years older will have a childhood experience from another generation. In some societies this is a major difference, like being from different cultures or different parts of the world. It's also possible that your spouse's parent or parents is likely to be older than yours and will require a different level of care.

You should know that you two may come under alot of scrutiny. Most people who are that far apart in age difference get criticized. They may think that you are marrying for the money, unless he has none, or that you broke up his previous marriage. You should remember thought that if you love them you can get through it.

When someone is getting married to an older person, he or she must look at their expectations and the other's expectations for the marriage. Is there an interest in children? Are there any children? Are both able to do the same things such as hobbies or outings with common enjoyment? Is this the person that really is "till death"?

Regardless of age, you should make sure you are a compatible mix and share at least some of the same interests. Definitely know health issues as well.

An older partner can provide a stable relationship due to their maturity. However, they may have less tolerance towards your youthful attitude (and mistakes! ). Proceed with caution.
