What should I know about mating bearded dragons?

Mating bearded dragons can be difficult as the males can tend to kill the female or the babies after they are born. I would get a book from a pet store or a libary and read up on the subject

A male should be placed together with two or three females in order to reduce fighting. After mating the female needs a mixture of dirt and sand that she can dig into to bury her eggs. Once laid the eggs can be removed and placed in a styrofoam incubator.

It is pretty tricky to get them to mate by force. Just leave them alone and get a bigger tank.
