Generally speaking, one can expect the best weather in California. The state features many locations with year-round warm temperatures, low humidity, few tropical-related storms or tornadoes. Coastal areas see the most moderate temperatures, while inland areas are hotter. In northern and mountainous regions, snowfall etches a beautiful portrait of some of the most scenic land on earth.

Good weather is a completely relative term. If by good, you mean hot and dry, then you would want to move to Nevada. However, if by good, you mean constantly changing to new types of good weather, including cool breezes, hot swimming weather, good skiing weather, and colorful autumns, then you want a four season state like Michigan or Pennsylvania.

It depends on what you classify as "good," but technically if you are looking for heat and not a lot of rain, the best state would be Hawaii, followed by Florida and Georgia.

I have heard that northwestern states like Oregon have consistently mild weather though it might rain fairly frequently. If you want consistently warm weather you could try Florida.
