What suggestions do yo have for battling insomnia?

I have insomnia every night.

They say to clear insomia don't drink before you go to bed. Don't do anything to stimulate your eyes an hour before going to bed like watching tv or being on the computer. Read a book and don't go to bed angry. You may need to see a doctor at first to get some medicine to help sleep.

Insomnia is a disorder that affects many people but alot of it is in your head. I recommend going to the doctor and getting on medication. This way you can help yourself get to sleep then you will have convinced yourself that you can sleep and will be able to slowly stop taking meds.

Try to rise up early everyday, don't oversleep or take naps, when you go to bed, do not try too hard to sleep, just relax. Exercise regularly.

Sometimes thinking about things keeps me up even when I am dead tired. So I try to finish as many tasks as possible, and make lists of the things I will take care of tomorrow. This way I feel like I have done all that I can, and can relax and stop thinking enough to get to sleep.

To control insomnia, go to bed and get up at the same time every day. Create a bedtime routine - perhaps a warm bath then reading with the lights dimmed.

When u are already in bed try to breath deep and slowly... No more ideas... sorry :(
