Chlord is a benzodiazepine which helps to reduce anxiety. Clidi is an anticholinergic or an antispasmodic which helps to reduce stomach cramping or intestinal cramping.

Chlordiazeposide HCL clidinium bromide is also known as Librax. It has been well known for years in the the treatment of anxiety and severe stress. It now may be possibly effective as adjunctive treatment of peptic ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome.

Actually Prednisone is normally prescribed for the breakout of an allergic rash. However if you breakout in a rash due to taking the prednisone you should stop taking it and comtact your Dr. about it possibly being an allergic reaction to the medication.

Chlord/clidi is a drug combination used to treat stomach pain, often associated with chronic ulcers. Chlordiazepoxide is a sedative, not unlike Valium, that lessens anxiety (which can cause ulcers and exacerbate them once they have formed). Clidinium slows down gut contractions and lessens the secretion of stomach acid, to the same end.
