'Banana Splits' is no longer on the air. It lasted two years. It bounced back and forth between animated adventures and live action segments.

The Banana Splits was a childrens' program that was on television when I was growing up. It featured live action segments "Danger Island" and animated features - "The Three Muskateers".

The Banana Splits Adventure Hour was on air between the years of 1968-1970 on NBS saturday mornings. It feature four characters in costumes who portrayed a musical quartet, and got into all kinds of shinanegans. I know they have a website, and you can watch old episodes on You tube, as well as many other websites.

The Banana Splits was an hour long show that had live action and animation shorts. Each show also included a song of the week. The show sometimes runs on tv but does not have a set schedule to be on the air.
