Acura RSX is debuted in September 2001 as a 2002 model. Acura RSX was an upgraded seventh generation Civic coupe. To differentiate the two models, Acura’s brandgineers gave the RSX a lower and wider stance than its Honda counterpart.

The Acura RSX, also known as the Honda Integra DC5, was in production from 2002 'til 2006, with a facelift and updates in 2004.
