What's the drawback to buying discount window blinds?

The most obvious is they are not of the highest quality. The is also this to consider, they only come in standard sizes and styles so you really have no say in the indvidualization of your window's look. The is also the idea that colors are more limited in discount blinds so self expression is not an option.

If you have cats, they will want to look out the window when they do they will bend the blinds and break them. The cheap blinds are not very sturdy. Also, if you are going to be putting them in a warm area where the sun beats down they can turn brown or melt.
