After variocele surgery or any other surgery for the matter, any strenuous activity including weight lifting is not recommendable for at least a month of time in order for the healing to take effect properly.

Normally doctors advice before start heavy lifting, need to wait at least 2 weeks after the surgery. But it is depending on patient to patient and the health condition of the patient after 2 weeks. Most proper way is before starting heavy lifting, meet the doctor again and get advice regarding the lifting.

Varicocele is a tangle of veins in the scrotum. Recovery time depends on what type of treatment has been experienced as less invasive procedures take less time. You should allow six weeks for recovery before heavy lifting. A support may be worn, but at any rate, take advice from your doctor.

Generally, those who have had a variocele surgery are able to go back to normal activity after 24 hours. It is truly up to the individual to determine whether they are comfortable with weight lifting again, so it would be best to try it out with a couple of easy exercises before going into a normal or harder routine.

Max-OT or Maximum Overload Training is the only way to stimulate muscle that has been under sufficient stress from surgical procedures. Maximum muscle fiber cooperation must be achieved to recover.
