When should you worry about a bruise on the head?

You should worry if you passed out when you got the bruise or if you felt faint or light headed. You should worry if you cannot remember what happened.

You should worry about a bruise on the head if it has a big cut and is bleeding. Also, if it continues to swell after a few hours then you should be concerned.

If there is bruise on head, it can affect scalp, skull or deeper resulting in deep internal hematoma of covering around your brain which is confirmed after CT scan.

You see, bruises or black-and-blue marks reveal sites where blood has leaked from circulation and has clotted in spaces of tissues. Some are called hematomas. It could signify Vitamin C deficiency or it could be hemophilia.

Every disease has a medicine. If there is a pain then eat the pain killer,get a CT Scan done,and if possible then get consulted to a godd doctor.

It all depends on how the bruise got on the head in the first place. If you fell and hit your head bruising could be a sign of a concussion or internal bleeding.
