Originally the Chevy van g20 was not with Chevy, it originated with GMC. During the early 1980's, when the van was produced, GMC started with a G and Chevy started with a C series. In conclusion the van was created first in the early 1980s by GMC.

The Chevy g20 van was in production from 1964 to 1996. Models made between 1964 and 1970 had 6 lug nuts on the wheels, and newer ones had 5.
