Try a store that sells flooring the carpet comes on long cardboard cylinders, they are heavy duty. Also check at local business alot of times they get items shipped in tubes.

Wait until you have finished using a roll of toilet paper or paper towels. You will then have a cardboard cylinder leftover. You may have to peel off any leftover paper.

Try out these places, Home Depot and Lowe's as they sell Sonotubes in the concrete department. These are really heavy duty cylinders and they usually act and used as concrete forms. Their price isn't much high and these are also quite malleable as you can cut it with a jigsaw.
