First time I hear about it, but you could write to lawyers by their email and they generally give you a free consultation anyways. There is also a phone service that could match you with a lawyer in your area for a free consult and usually a 25% off deal.

Legal advice generally is not free. You may be able to get some input from Q/A sites like Snippets or Yahoo. The law varies from state to state.

You can not get accurate and helpful legal advice over the internet. You could maybe find suggestions by using the various search engines. Find a lawyer in your area and go to their web site and email them a brief synopsis of your situation.

Remember that you get what you pay for and free may not be the best legal advice. You can check for specific topics and e-mail the information providers. Check you state bar website for free clinics and hotlines, they may also provide online assistance. Court website may provide free forms and information.
