Listen to Dave Ramsey. There are no such grants out their to pay off your debts. The trick is to spend less than you make and debt snowball your debt.

You could try the library, your bank, the internet, friend, and or family. Be careful though using the internet or commercial help. Buyer beware.

I have checked into personal grants and as far as I know there are none available to pay off personal debts. I would suggest you check into a personal loan at your local bank. If you are in credit card debt you can consolidate them.

There are no grants to pay off general debts. The federal government and many municipalities and school districts offer partial forgiveness of student loan debt after a length of service.

You can work with a credit management company. Their lawyers will negotiate your debt with the bank and often allows you to pay them pennies on the dollar. You may be forgiven 40-50% of your debt and with a fixed payment every month for 2-4 years you will be debt free.

Ask yourself are you going to pay this off and next year be in debt again. You get grants for schooling not paying off debts.

That depends on what kind of debt you have. If its education related than there are a lot of scholarships and grants you can apply for. But if its personal debt than there are no grants to pay of your debt.
