I would call Canon and ask to talk to a technical service adviser, they should be able to provide you with a list of repair/trouble shooting options and or repair centers in your local area.

Go to the Canon website on the internet. Then click on the "live chat" link and wait for a representative to come on live.

The first place to look is the scanners operation manual. IF you don't have a copy of this you can go to cannon's website and download it in PDF format. Also on their site they have several FAQ's that you can use to diagnose any problems you might be having.

what i would do is go in the manul and get a 800# and call the company tech support, if you dont have the manul go online to fine the 800# and then call them this alway work for me and they can tell you what to do to make it work or were to get repair
