Where did you go for the last vacation you went on?

The last vacation I went on was to Las Vegas. We were there to visit friends and to see the Iowa State Cyclones play the UNLV Running Rebels play at Sam Boyd Stadium. It was a great time except for Iowa State losing the game, which is what they always do.

I went to Chicago for my quarter century party. I took in the final game of the NHL season (Blackhawks/Red Wings) at the United Center and the Cubs home opener at Wrigley Field. Other places i visited were the free Zoo, the Aquarium, and the Museum of Science and Industry.

The last vacation that I went on was to Monterey, California. My husband and I drove up from Los Angeles and stopped in Solvang along the way. While in Monterey, we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and walked around Cannery Row. This is a family friendly vacation spot. We also went to Santa Cruz, California while on this trip.

The last place I went on vacation was Manhattan. We did a lot of sightseeing. I took my young (12-year-old) niece to the typical 'touristy' places that many New Yorkers never see, such as FAO Schwartz and Dylan's Candy Bar. She had a wonderful time and couldn't believe that her parents had never taken her.

We went to southern California for our last vacation. This included a visit to Disneyland and California's Adventure. On this vacation we also had a boat trip on Lake Arrowhead, and a shopping excursion to the Ontario Mills shopping mall. We also spent time at Fiesta Village playing mini-golf, laser tag, and driving go carts.
