Where do I find the Toyota Four Runner oxygen sensor or air fuel ratio sensor?

Oxygen sensors can be found underneath the bottom of the vehicle. Oxygen sensors generally plug into certain areas of the exhaust. Your vehicle may have multiple sensors as well. They are usually round in shape and welded into place.

You are going to find the oxygen sensor on the exhaust and the air fuel ration sensor is going to be located on the top of the motor by your fuel rail. It is going to be easier to do the air fuel ration sensor first and then your oxygen sensor.

The best place to find them as a Toyota's parts store. You can get them to order parts for you. They will get them for you by order. Also, if you want to install yourself, you can buy them on e-bay. Ebay gives you value for your money by allowing you to bid.

The o2 sensor will be located in the vehicles exhaust system. Typically the sensor will be located right before the catalytic converter. Some vehicles may have multiple ones including ones located after the catalytic converter. Engines with a V layout may have a pair per side.

Oxygen sensors, or in some Toyota applications, an air/fuel ratio sensor, is located in the exhaust system. There will be one located on either side of the exhaust before the catalitic converter (something that looks like a muffler but in the beginning of the exhaust) and then one after the converter.

If your vehicle has California emissions exhaust then the sensor in question is an Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor. If the vehicle is NOT Cali emissions then it is an O2Sensor. Lots of people buy the wrong sensor first including myself, but it literally takes 10 minutes to change out. I got my new Denso sensor from URD and they charged me the O2sensor price.

Facing the Four Runner the Air fuel ratio sensor is on the front top left portion of the engine. It should be approximately two inches in size and sometimes in the shape of the letter " P " and connected to the manifold. You have 2 O2 sensors under the hood and 2 near the Cat converter and exhaust piping.

They oxygen sensor is the sensor that measures the the air to fuel ratio. Not know what year it is or what engine it has I can;t say exactly where it is. It will be in the exhaust system located somewhere in front of the catalytic converter.

Your oxygen sensor is located either on the exhaust manifold or on the exhaust pipe before the middle of the front door. Depending on the year there may be two.
