The brake differential valve located in just back on the front left tyre. This is a combination valve for detecting any problem in the brake system. There is also disk brake and an emergency brake in the modern cars. The brakes transmit the force to the tyres using friction. The tyres also transmit that force to the road using friction.

Most times the valve is located under the hood, near the Master Cylinder. Following the brake lines out of the MC and through it's loops, your two lines will enter and three (or more) lines will exit - one to each front brake and a single line to the rears).

The location is in the rear master brake cylinder cavity. Under no circumstances should a repair of this valve be attempted. Should a malfunction occur replace the brake master cylinder and return the unopened brake cavity to your local dealer. Be sure to get a signed release from the dealer.

You will find the brake differential valve between the front brake lines and the back brake lines. The brake warning light is triggered by the valve switch when the brake system is losing pressure.

In most vehicles with hydraulic brakes, it is located just below the master cylinder in the engine compartment. It is also generally located before the proportioning valve. You can find it by following the brake lines as they will originate in one spot just under the master cylinder.

In modern cars, it's a part of the combination valve, which is usually found along the brake lines somewhere near the master cylinder on the driver side under the hood. It's collocated with the metering valve and--except on trucks--the proportioning valve.

This valve is located just below the master cylinder. It measures the pressure of the two parts of the master cylinder and compares them.

Well without knowing the year and model of the car all I can tell you is that it is located spliced into the brake line. Usually mounted to the frame.
