Depending on what year your jimmy is the flasher may be located behind the glovebox. If you remove the retaining tab you can let the door hang to access it.

Both the flashers and turn signals are located under the lower dash panel, in the middle. Older model the flasher relay are located behind the glovebox. Also in this area is where you will find different relays.

Disconnect the battery and remove the airbag fuse. Remove the airbag from the steering wheel. Remove also the steering wheel and the plastic housing. Disconnect the signal unit and mount the new one. Put it back the way you found it.

The flasher is located in the center of the front of your vehicle. It is right behind your cigarette/power plug panel. You will also need an allen wrench to gain access to the flasher behind the panel. When checking the flasher you can swap the emergency flasher with the turn signal to check it.

Depending on which light you would like to change it would be located on either the front or rear of the vehicle on one of the corners.

The flasher on a GMC Jimmy is on the front seat driver's side, under the steering column. There might be a cover that is on top of the flasher panel.

The first place I would look is the fuse panel. The flasher relay should be located down there. It should look like a small round metal fuse. You can usually verify that this is it by looking at the fuse diagram inside the panel cover.

The flasher is located in the back right next to the light. There you can take it out and replace as needed.
