Oregon is a great destination spot if you love to go crabbing. One of the places where you can catch the best crabs is Netarts Bay, 6 miles southwest of Tillamook. This is an especially great spot because the water is too shallow for salmon, so the area is pretty much reserved for crab fishing.

The Oregon coast is famous for excellent crab. Nehalem Bay, Siletz Bay, Yaquina Bay and Alsea Bay are the best places to go crabbing in Oregon. These locations also offer boats, guides, and gear nearby for rent. You will find both Dungeness and Japanese Red Rock crab at these locations.
