Kenny Rogers is one of the most famous country musicians with a mustache. He was voted the 'Favorite Singer of All Time' in a People magazine poll in 1986. Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn of the famous country group, Brooks and Dunn, wore mustaches and they began writing songs and playing in the late 1980's.

Back in the 1980's a large number of country music singers had facial hair. Some of the most notable "hairy" singers sporting mustaches were Toby Keith, Keith Whitley, Eddie Rabbit, and the duo Brooks and Dunn.

Everyone had mustaches in the 80's,country singers were no exception, in fact you would be hard pressed to find a country singer in the 80's that didn't have a mustache.
