Quality of water will normally affects fish. Copper in the pipes can be one reason. Using parasites can kill some, so use it after confirmation. Low oxygen may also cause them to die. Test your water for tests like pH,hardness, alkalinity, ammonia, nitrite, salt and oxygen. A Raccoon can also make damage to goldfish.

You should have 1 fish for every 1 cubic foot. Don't have to feed the fish, since Koi will eat most of the algae or bottom feed. The goldfish will need some food. Check the water quality and don't feed the fish when it is 55 degrees or less.

Are you filling the pond with tap water? The chemicals in the tap water may be killing the fish. You can use a dechlorinator to fix the water.

First of all make sure they have enough food and the proper kind of food. Then make sure the lighting is neither too intense or too dark. Finally make sure the pond is the right temp and not too cold or too hot.
