Men know that men are not as good as women think they are, so sometimes they try to give women the bad news so the woman won't be furious or heartbroken when she finds out the truth a year later. He may simply be telling the truth.

He probably thinks of you as "just a friend," or as "one of the guys. " If you really like him, perhaps you should let him know your feelings so that he doesn't do this anymore.

He must not have any respect. If my man talked like that in front of me there wouldn't even be a second chance. If he cares about you he will stop disrespecting you. Confront him and tell you how it makes you feel. If he doesn't care, well there are plenty of fish in the sea.
