Laser lens may be dirty or scratched. Try cleaning it with a DVD cleaning Disc. If that doesn't work you may be able to use a q-tip dabbed with a little alcohol.

There are several possibilities. It might be dirty and just need to be cleaned. It could be unbalanced (make sure it's sitting flat and balanced). Or, it might be more serious. The laser in the game might be broken. It is fixable, but should be sent to Nintendo for the best results in replacing the laser.

Take a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol. Then lightly douse the Q-tip, gently wipe the laser lens. wait about 10 minutes to dry, then try your CD. Scratches will not help.

The disk drive needs fixing or cleaning because dust may prevent it from reading disks , or the "game reading eye " went out or is dirty.

Well it is possible that your laser eye is either dirty of damaged. Buy a lens cleaning kit and see if that helps.

The laser could be dirty. You could try cleaning it gently with a Q-Tip and a very small amount of rubbing alcohol. Customer Service can be reached at 1-800-255-3700.
