Why does my Pontiac Montana panic horn keep going off?

The alarm button is being pressed by something, its probably a crossed wire in the remote relay. Check under the hood and see whats in the fuse box.

The most likely cause is going to be that something is wrong with the remote causing the panic button to be triggred. Try replacing the battery.

Some of the reasonings, make sure when you have your remote unit in your pocket, bag, or purse that it isn't hit or touched up against something thats making it go off. Battery could be low and needs to be replaced. A bare wire contacting with ground or another wire could be the case. Take to dealership to check out.

This can happen if your remote unit is in your pocket and is hit when moving about. The biggest culprit is when your battery is low. Replace the battery.
