Test the water quality using a test kit. Perform a partial water change if necessary. Sometimes fish will change colors and refuse to eat when stressed out. Your betta might be dying of old age. Bettas lifespans are short, sometimes they only live for a year. Most have stressful lives, especially the beginning when the babies are bred and sold.

Blue beta's usually turn colors because of temperature changes. It is pretty normal for blue betas to turn brown and black.Your blue beta may refuse to eat because of other reasons.

It may have a parasite so I would either put the fish in a quarantine tank or change a significant amount of water in the tank. 25% or so.

Your beta fish might have ammonia poisoning. A sign of ammonia disease is that fish may gasp for air at te top of the tank and refuses to eat.

It sounds as if your beta is very sick. Clean the water daily to reduce the risk of infection. You may need to get an antibiotic for the fish as well and treat the fish when you change the water. To get the beta to eat you could try frozen bloodworms.

She is probably pretty old, discoloring is typically a sign that they are aging. Beta's don't usually live all that long anyway.

well I think that your beta haves ammonia poisoning. thats cause by like if your filter fails or if you have to many fish in tank. you will have to lower the tank ph below 7. 5 and change 25% to 40% of the tank water used age water.
